At Kenai River Trout Hunter, we understand that travel plans and weather conditions can change. Because guided fishing trips require advance scheduling, limited availability, and preparation, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings.
Deposits & Payments
A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your trip date.
The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of your trip (as agreed at booking).
Guest Cancellations
More than 30 days before your trip:
Guests may cancel for a full refund, including any deposits paid.
30 days or less before your trip:
Guests are responsible for full payment of the trip. No refunds will be issued at this point.
We understand that plans can change, and while refunds are not available within 30 days, we will always make a best‑effort attempt to reschedule your trip to the nearest available opening within the same season. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Weather & River Conditions
Alaska weather and river conditions can change rapidly. Trips will proceed in safe weather conditions at the guide’s discretion.
If Kenai River Trout Hunter cancels due to unsafe conditions, high water, wildfire impacts, or other uncontrollable events, trips will be rescheduled for a future date within the same season, subject to availability.
No cash refunds will be issued for guide-canceled trips due to weather or river conditions.
Weather that is uncomfortable but safe (rain, cold, wind) is not grounds for cancellation or refund.
